What are you looking forward to at this year’s event? Always love a future, can’t wait for Jen Brace. Scott Monty is reliably excellent. Not many people more inspiring than Chris Lambert, and really looking forward to Elizabeth Toye because few people are more battle-tested than an elementary math teacher.

Favorite pastime? Spending time in northern Michigan
Favorite place to take out of town guests? Belle Isle, Eastern Market, or any of Detroit’s pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods (like Midtown, West Village, Corktown)
Favorite place to visit in Michigan? Frankfort! Nothing better than a day at the beach followed by Stormcloud Brewing.
What are you reading? Re-reading the Diary of Anne Frank with my 7th grade daughter
What are you watching? Chimp Crazy
